The quick answer

Open Markdown to PDF, paste your content or open a file, and choose Print / Save PDF. In the browser dialog select Save as PDF. This uses your browser’s print engine rather than sending the document to a server.

Prepare the document

Use one descriptive H1 heading, a sensible heading hierarchy, and short code lines. Preview wide tables before exporting. External images stay disabled unless you explicitly allow them.

## Installation

Run the documented setup command.

Choose print settings

Choose A4 or Letter to match the intended audience. Disable browser headers and footers to remove the printed URL and date. Leave background graphics off for a clean document. Inspect every preview page before saving, especially wide tables and long code blocks.

Understand the limits

Page breaks and fonts vary across browsers. This tool does not provide PDF/A validation, password protection, or a custom typesetting engine. Equations and diagrams render in the workspace. Inspect their printed output before use in a publication.
