Why use MD Glide?
A line based comparison keeps your document on this device. Added lines have a plus sign and removed lines have a minus sign and strikethrough, so the meaning does not depend on color alone.
Limits and compatibility
The comparison is line based, not a semantic or word level merge. Very large comparisons are limited to prevent the browser from freezing. It does not write changes back to either source.
Privacy and your files
Document contents are processed in this browser. We do not upload your text to a conversion service. Reader images are blocked unless enabled. Download a copy before closing the tab; saved highlights and notes use local storage, recent-file handles use IndexedDB, and tool handoffs temporarily use session storage.
